Talia Russo was born in Toronto, Canada. Her biggest passion is performing and making others laugh. Talia began her career at the age of six, putting on plays and dances for her family and friends, and acted in her first play (Harvey The Hypochondriac)and got a standing ovation for her performance playing the role of (Bogy's Girl) at thirteen at Yorkhill Elementary School. During her high school days at Vaughan Secondary Talia was involved in drama studies, and on the weekends was a featured dancer on City TV'S Electric Circus, a weekly dance program with performances by well known artists like Britney Spears, P-Diddy and many more,and GO-GO danced at all ages clubs where Talia got the nickname Supergirl. While dancing on national television Talia was discovered by a Toronto Sun photographer Todd Gillis, to model for their daily Sunshine Girl spread which led to a local radio station (HITS 103.5 at the time) to be a promotional model called "The Hits Girls" which then led Talia to her first agent. Passionate about more than just acting Talia auditioned for a tribute band of the famous "Spice Girls" group at the time and traveled around Ontario singing and dancing shows for hundreds of people. It wasn't long after that at age nineteen when Talia landed her first movie role as a hanger victim in the horror thriller "Massacre Up North", a Canadian cult film loved by many, directed by Paul Stoichevsky. From that first film role, Talia fell in love and began taking her craft more seriously by studying at The Second City in Toronto, and at The Equity Showcase Theatre where some of Canada's finest teachers hail from, i.e., David Rottenberg. Since then she has worked in Hollywood films with Bruce Willis in 16 Blocks, to be released in 2006, playing a young bride, and a lifeguard in the family favorite Cheaper By The Dozen 2, alongside Talia's favorite actress/model Carmen Electra and in November 2005 she acted in Canada's critically acclaimed sketch comedy show "The Royal Canadian Air Farce" playing a Nunwatch Babe,and Osamma Binladdens wife. "Comedy is my life, what's better than laughing?" Talia is well on her way to Hollywood! We can't wait!!
